Australia’s top foodies are invited to participate in a host of culinary challenges, held at Fine Food Queensland Exhibition 2012. Get your aprons on and prepare to sizzle in the kitchen!

Restaurant of Champions
This event will see chefs teams from restaurants and hotels compete to see who is best. Watch the action as teams prepare and serve a meal for around 80 patrons right in front of you. This event is presented by the Australian Culinary Federation (QLD) with the support of Fonterra.
Butchers Cup
For the first time at Fine Food Queensland in 2012, The MLA and ACF Queensland will be holding The Butchers Cup, an apprentice butchery competition.
The apprentice butchers will be showing off their knife skills in the Restaurant of Champions, alongside the Chefs. This is great format for both butchers and chefs alike to share skills and knowledge of the red meat industry.
The apprentice butchers will be using beef and lamb primals. The judges will be looking for innovation, cooking knowledge, display, garnishing, and knife skills.
Fine Food Queensland Exhibition Seminar Theatre
A series of free seminars covering a range of topics will run throughout the show days and will be held on the show floor. The programme includes a great lineup of speakers and industry experts discussing what matters most to your business.

Queensland Baking Show
The Baking Associations of Australia is the baking industries peak national body, uner the BAA QLD branch the BAA will host the Queensland Baking Show for 2012 at Fine Food Queensland.
For the first 2 days of the show the BAA will conduct demonstrations with industry products, see the latest techniques in Artisan Breads, Traditional Cake Decorating and Making Perfect Pies and Pastries.
On the third day of the show the Queensland Baking Show will take place with over 20 cateogires to enter and over $1000 in cash prizes and trophies will be up for grabs.
